Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005110651A1] The invention relates to a portable angle power tool (10) which has a housing base (12) holding the driven tool (14, 15), the axis of said housing being adjustable by an axis of articulation (13) in relation to the axis of a housing subsection (11) serving as the handpiece. The aim of the invention is to provide a power tool of the aforementioned kind that is especially compact and light-weight. For this purpose, the portable power tool (10) is configured as a universal saw whose housing parts (11, 12) can be locked with each other in various relative positions. The housing subsection (11) receives the drive motor (19) whose output rotational movement is transmitted onto the tool, a saw blade (13, 14) which is guided in the housing base (12), via an angular gear (23, 24).
