[origin: WO2005113572A2] Provided herein are novel nucleic acid and amino acids sequences of a phosphoprotein derived from a Guinea pig. Methods and compositions for modulating the phosphorylation of the novel protein in a dopaminergic signaling pathway are also provided. Compounds identified by the disclosed methods may be used to treat disorders characterized by a aberrant or dysfunctional intracellular signaling pathway regulated by DARPP-32.
