[origin: WO2005121463A1] The invention relates to a toilet bowl comprising a device which is used to suction pungent smelling air from the inside of the bowl (20) which is made of a ceramic material. An air channel (9) of the device (30) extends from the top side of the bowl into a waste pipe (24) which is arranged in the lower region of the bowl (20), in order to withdraw the air. Said air channel (9) guided into the waste pipe (24) is formed, by means of a ceramic tubular part (23), together with the bowl (20) which is produced by casting. As a result, the air is suctioned in an optimal manner.
