[origin: WO2005117343A1] IP based communications are transmitted between terminals (1) and (3), via respective mobile networks (5, 5A), and IMS networks (9, 9A), and via internet (23). Messages relating to a particular service are provided with a component that identifies the service and is interpretable by the internet (23). These service-identifying components allow the control of the message transmission relating to a particular service request, and also allow the mobile terminal to be charged on the basis of use of a particular service. A portion if this charge may be shared between networks within the internet (23) that carry the messages and which facilitate provision of the service.
