[origin: EP1757339A1] Snowboard or ski core (1) with a reinforcing edge (4) around it. The reinforcing edge is sprayed onto the core by a plastic injection moulding process. It is sprayed over the total thickness of the core according to the amount of headroom available. It can be sprayed over the whole extent of the core. It consists of at least two compatible plastics.
