[origin: EP1757521A1] A machine for packing products in cases comprises: a first line (L1) for conveying a succession of open cases (1) to be folded; a second line (L2) for conveying a succession of products (P) to be packed in the cases (1) and merging with the first line at a pairing station (S1) where each product is paired to a respective open case; means for folding and closing the case around the product and comprising two folders (15) positioned on each side of the case conveyor line at a station (S4) for folding the side flaps of the cases; each folder (15) comprising a first and a second pusher (16, 16') pivoted at the ends of a lever (17), the pushers (16, 16') being equipped with actuating means for successively and repeatedly moving the first pusher (16) into contact with a front side flap (21) and the second pusher (16') into contact with a rear side flap (20) of the cases in transit.
