[origin: EP1600205A1] Apparatus for mixing an additive into a pumpable viscoplastic mixture passing through a conduit (8) comprises injectors in the conduit and a downstream mixing chamber (9) in which the additive is dynamically mixed with the viscoplastic mixture. An independent claim is also included for adding an additive to a pumpable viscoplastic mixture passing through a conduit by adding the additive through injectors and mixing the additive with the pumpable mixture in a downstream dynamic mixing chamber.
