[origin: WO2005124072A1] The invention relates to a device for assisting in opening/closing an openable unit comprising a latch (9) for engaging/disengaging a latch keeper, a ratchet (10) for locking the latch (9) at least in a blocking position and for releasing said latch, a first cinematic chain (3) for assisting in closing whose one end is connected to a motor (1) and the other end is connected to said latch (9), a second cinematic chain (4) for assisting in opening whose one end is connected to the motor (1) and the other end is connected to said ratchet (10). Said invention is characterised in that the motor comprises a through shaft (2) whose two ends form a drive connection to said first cinematic chain (3) and to the second cinematic chain (4), respectively.
