[origin: WO2006003337A1] A motor vehicle component attachment system whereby a component can be attached to a structural means (4, 5) of a vehicle, comprising a housing (10) rigidly connected to the structural means (4, 5) and forming a frame (20) in which an attachment nut (40) is loosely mounted in such a way that it is engageable with an attachment screw for the purpose of attaching the component, whereby the loose fitting of the nut (40) enables mounting dispersion to be compensated for, characterised in that at least one of the surfaces (44) of the nut (40) contacts the frame (20), and in that the contact surface (44) has rib portions (45).
