[origin: WO2005124456A2] A photopolymerisable composition comprises (a) 75-99 % by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer or monomer mixture of various ethylenically unsaturated monomers, (b) 0.5-25 % by weight of a triglyceride or mixture of various triglycerides, and (c) 0.1-10 % by weight of a photo-initiator system which activates the polymerisation of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) under the influence of actinic radiation, the composition forming a homogeneous clear mixture which is liquid at 20 DEG C. Also disclosed are elements produced from these photopolymerisable compositions and processes for forming a light-resistant hologram with these compositions. The photopolymerisable compositions are particularly suitable as recording material for optical elements with refractive index modulation, in particular holograms.
