Abstract (en)
The device (1) has an elongated foot (10) supported on a ground (S). An elongated support beam (12) of a silencer (2) is adapted to extend axially along the silencer, at the level of terminal inserts (5, 6) which are connected to removable elements such as a filter cartridge (4B) and a catalyst package (4A). The inserts are connected to the foot in a movable manner between horizontal and vertical positions. Metallic chains (73, 74) lock respective tubes of the insert (6). An axial spacing unit is between the removable elements and the insert (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for replacing filter cartridge or catalyst package by a silencer holding device.
