[origin: EP1760024A2] The reel has a hand grip (22) attached to a guiding device (26) for guiding a hose or cable (18). The guiding device has a guiding unit formed by a guide bar (27) that guides directly the hose or cable during coiling process of the hose or cable and overlaps a reel body (14) parallel to the hand grip. The guide bar exhibits a transverse sliding surface that extends continuously over the width of a winding space (17) for the cable.
