Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1760251A2] The present invention refers to an anti-fall safety device for rolling shutters with torsion rings, of the type commonly used to close garages and shops. The device of the invention comprises two main elements (A and B), with a torsion spring (M) placed and attached between them; the failure of the spring (M) actuates a retention pawl (8) that interferes with the free rotation of a rotating drum (5) joined to the top slate of the rolling shutter.
