Abstract (en)
A cam (50) with two cam profiles (54,55) is movable along a rocker lever (21) and between the coupling points (19,23) of the lever with respect to the valve (4) and valve clearance adjuster (29). One cam profile (54) is limited to the valve opening movement. The other profile (55) is for both valve opening and closing movements. The valve clearance adjuster varies the valve clearance by varying position of the coupling point (23).
