Abstract (en)
The timepiece has an hour rack (37) with teeth (37c) driven by a striking gear train, where the rack is connected to a return spring (40). The spring applies a torque constantly to the rack to rotate it in the direction of an hour rack cam. The teeth are engaged with a free pinion (44) coaxial to a striking mobile (3b) of the train. A pinion (45), identical and coaxial to the pinion (44), is mounted on a staff of the mobile. The pinions (44, 45) are integrated in rotation by a clutch pinion (47) engaged with the pinions (44, 45) and fixed to a clutch rocker associated to a release lever.
