[origin: WO2006002718A1] Disclosed is a longitudinally adjustable pole (10) for Nordic walking, roller skating, or similar. Said pole (10) comprises two fixable tubes (11, 12) which can be moved relative to each other in a telescopic manner and an adjusting/fixing mechanism (20) for moving and axially fixing the two tubes (11, 12) in relation to one another. In order to prevent the momentum properties of such a longitudinally adjustable pole from being negatively affected in spite of a variable pole length, the maximum displacement path of the two tubes (11, 12) relative to each other is 250 mm while an outer or inner tube (12, 11) is provided which is fitted with a pole handle (16) and is shortened to the range of the maximum displacement path.
