Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2413761A] A child seat assembly (32) for a vehicle comprises a first mounting part (91, 191) for attachment to a child seat and a second mounting part (94, 194) for attachment to the vehicle. The first mounting part (91, 191) is rotatably mounted to the second mounting part (94, 194) and is also movable towards and away from the second mounting part (94, 194). The arrangement permits the position of the child seat to be changed between front- and rear-facing child seat configurations without disconnecting the first mounting part from the second mounting part (94), or the second mounting part (94) from the vehicle. In another embodiment the child seat may be stored within the main vehicle seat (see Fig 1).
