Abstract (en)
The wheelchair chassis consists of two rigid side frames (1, 2) linked by crossing bars (8) connected by a pivot (12) with a vertical axis. Each bar has one end hinged to a side frame upright (6), and the other connected by horizontal sliding joints (9, 10) to the opposite frame. The two frames have upper and lower bars, while locking levers fix the chassis in the deployed position. An independent claim describes a chassis with side frames having one lengthwise bar each.
