Abstract (en)
The mattress has an upper layer (1) and a lower layer (3) made of viscous foam and polyether foam, respectively. A three-dimensional spacer fabric (4) is arranged between the upper layer and lower layer, and each of the upper and lower side of the fabric has a mesh (5). Spring distance threads (61) are aligned perpendicular to the meshes, and run between the meshes. Flange strips (2) made of foam material such as polyether foam and/or frigid foam are pasted on all four front sides over the entire height of the mattress. An independent claim is also included for a method for using a ventilation mattress.
