[origin: EP1762351A2] The arrangement has a base body (5) and a cutting box (20) attached to the base body with a movable sliding cutter (10) and a controller of fastening head movement for automatic fastening wire cutting. The cutting box and the sliding cutter have at least partly coaxial openings (22) so that the interaction of these openings and an operating arrangement (50) enable manual wire cutting. An independent claim is also included for a method of adapting an inventive device.
