[origin: EP1762509A1] A device and method for cleaning carpets, fabric and upholstery has a pressurised container which discharges a jet of cleaning composition onto the surface to be cleaned. A containment skirt defines the area to be cleaned and surrounds and contains the jet of cleaning composition.
