Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1762805A1] The device has a pipe system (3) of a heat exchanger (1), where a fluid medium flows and circulates through the pipe system. A gaseous medium flows or passes through lamellae (5) and/or cooling fins. A humidifier (7) is provided for humidifying the lamellae or cooling fins with fluid. The humidifier has a pressure chamber (9) with elastically deformable outlets (21) that are formed in an elastic diaphragm. The dimension and form of the outlets are varied depending on the fluid pressure in the pressure chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method of cooling a fluid medium.
