Abstract (en)
The sighting system consists of a single luminous indicator (6), a sight (7) with an alignment slot (8) having a lengthwise reference plane parallel to the axis (Y-Y') of the gun barrel, an inclinometer to measure the gun's elevation, and a ballistic calculator (9) connected to the indicator. The inclinometer calculates the required inclination according to the distance of the target, measured by a range finder (10) while the indicator emits a coloured light, preferably red and changing to green when the measured angle of elevation corresponds to the calculated angle.
