The wheelchair (1), comprising a chassis (2) with an articulated structure with supports for a seat, foot rest (25) and back, incorporates a mechanism (65) with an adjustable stop for regulating the angle between the foot rests and seat in the standing position and the amplitude of relative rotation between the seat and foot rest supporting structures. The seat supporting structure includes at least one deformable quadrilateral with bars (18, 19) forming its long sides, and spacers (20, 21) for its two short sides.

L'invention concerne un fauteuil verticalisateur pour handicapés et invalides, comprenant un châssis ( 2 ) supportant une structure articulée ( 10 ) comprenant une structure ( 12 ) de support d'une assise, une structure de support d'un repose-pieds, une structure de support ( 30 ) d'un dossier et des moyens ( 11 ) de support et de manoeuvre de la structure articulée qui sont interposés entre la structure articulée ( 10 ) et le châssis ( 2 ) et qui sont adaptés pour déplacer la structure articulée ( 10 ) d'une position d'assise à une position de verticalisation reculée par rapport à la position d'assise et inversement. Selon l'invention, le fauteuil verticalisateur comprend des moyens de réglage de l'angle ( ± ) entre le repose-pieds et l'assise en position de verticalisation.
