The cleaning device (10) for printing plates (44) has a washing chamber (16) to take at least one printing plate, and a spray system (26) inside it to spray cleaning fluid (18) over the plate. There is also a movement system (52) to create relative movement between the printing plate and the spray system in the washing chamber.

Es wird vorgeschlagen eine Reinigungsvorrichtung (10) für Druckplatten (44), insbesondere Flexodruckplatten (44), mit einem Waschraum (16), in dem wenigstens eine Druckplatte (44) aufgenommen werden kann, und einem Sprühsystem (26), das in dem Waschraum (16) angeordnet und dazu ausgelegt ist, die Druckplatte (44) mit einer Reinigungsflüssigkeit (18) zu besprühen. Dabei ist ein Bewegungssystem (52) vorgesehen, mittels dessen in dem Waschraum (16) eine Relativbewegung (60) zwischen der Druckplatte (44) und dem Sprühsystem (26) erzeugbar ist.
