[origin: EP1764462A2] The transmission has a base element (10) having a mounting level (12) for a plant at a door such as at the framework of a door. The base element can be rotated around an axis of rotation perpendicularly to the mounting level. A mechanical transmission element (48, 44, 54) converts the movement component into a rotating motion for a square opening (42). The opening has an area with external teeth (54), having a movable tooth element torque proofed connected to a drive component of a rotating motor. The axes of rotation of the tooth element and the opening extend parallel to each other.
