Abstract (en)
The headlight (20), comprising an elliptical reflector (22), a light source (26) and a mask (36) that pivots about a transverse axis of rotation, incorporates a stop mechanism (64) that limits the movement of the mask depending on whether the headlight is set for right- or lefthand driving. The rotation of the mask is controlled by an electric motor (42) positioned outside the reflector.
