Abstract (en)
The collecting tank (6) has a drying/filtering unit, at least part of which is closed, so that the distance between the free inlet surface (24) and the free outlet surface (28) of the unit is larger than the distance between two overflow openings (8,9) provided in the collecting tank. The closed portion of the drying/filtering unit is preferably arranged at least at the height of the overflow opening (8) through which a refrigerant flows into the collecting tank. An independent claim is included for a heat exchanger, in particular a condenser.
