Manufacturing method involves providing of a metallic coating, at least section wise, on the surface (20,22,24,26) of a membrane (10) and on the decoupling element (12) in mounting condition. The decoupling element is arranged at the membrane. The application of the metallic coating takes place, if the membrane and the decoupling element are installed in a housing (4) of the ultrasonic sensor. An independent claim is also included for the ultrasonic sensor.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Ultraschallsensors (2), mit einer Membrane (10) und mit einem an der Membrane (10) anzuordnenden Entkopplungselement (12), wobei im montierten Zustand von Membrane (10) und Entkopplungsmedium (12) deren Oberflächen (20, 22, 24, 26) zumindest abschnittsweise mit einer metallischen Beschichtung (36) versehen werden.
