Abstract (en)
The press has a cable, where a cable conductor and a cable insulation are connectable by crimps that are arranged at a press sliding carriage (5). The press sliding carriage is drivable by a press motor. A crimp height adjustment is provided for adjusting crimp height of the crimps. The crimp height adjustment is operatable by the drive motor and the crimp height adjustment comprises a rotatable eccentric disk (21). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a crimp press.
