Abstract (en)

A die-casting machine with heat chamber has a machine frame (1) providing the support for a form closure mechanism (3) under a slide-fit top- and side-mounted hood (6). The die-casting machine further has a top-mounted chimney (18) over a fixed form clamp slab (5) that is part of the closure mechanism (3). It further incorporates a molten metal feed (21) attached to the machine frame (1).
