Abstract (en)
A powered e.g. garage door has a belt or chain drive to an interface mechanism that engages with a rider (10) and door pulling pin (20) that moves through a guide rail (12). The rider has swivel-mounted detent pawl that is deployed by a spring from the retracted mode to the extended mode on reaching the end of travel along the guide rail. The detent pawl then engages with the locking element. The detent pawl is retracted on opening by a cam.
