Abstract (en)
The method involves monitoring a fire parameter by a fire detector (BM) containing a temperature-sensor unit (TD) and a smoke-sensor unit (RD). An alarm is triggered by the fire parameter during obtaining of predetermined alarm value. Another fire parameter is monitored by another temperature-sensor unit (AD) for early fire detection. Another alarm is produced by an evaluation electronic unit and/or evaluation unit (AE) during obtaining of another alarm value of one of the fire parameters. The monitoring of flow speed of air that passes through the detector is carried out by the unit (AD). An independent claim is also included for a fire detector for detection of fire and producing a fire alarm.
