[origin: WO2006010701A1] The invention concerns a machine for cleaning inner walls (66, 75) of a container (12), comprising several cleaning stations each of which is equipped with a scouring tube (36) which is connected to a pressurized gas source and which is provided with a nozzle (38) scouring gas towards the inner walls (66, 75) of the container (12) during one cleaning cycle including a rising phase and a descending phase (Pd) of the scouring tube (36), the nozzle (38) comprising a peripheral annular slot (64) adapted to form a globally truncated peripheral gas jet (f2) directed towards the inner side walls (66) of the container (12) and downwards, and the peripheral jet (f2) being triggered during at least part of the descending phase (Pd).
