Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006007612A1] The invention relates to the production of mesh products (G) from welded groups of perpendicularly intersecting longitudinal and transverse elements (L, L'; Q), welded to each other at the intersection by means of the electrical resistance method, whereby at least one group of longitudinal elements for each mesh product are firstly arranged stepwise with given lateral separations, then the group or the groups are together transversely displaced in the longitudinal element introduction plane (X-X) of the welding machine, the groups of longitudinal elements arranged in given positions within the working region (A-A) of the welding machine, the corresponding transverse elements introduced individually into the positions in the transverse direction, as determined by the corresponding group of longitudinal elements, along the welding line (S-S) of the welding machine and the welding units not required for the welding of the transverse elements to the longitudinal elements displaced from the region of the longitudinal elements parallel to the welding line and fixed outside the external longitudinal elements.
