[origin: WO2005057875A1] The invention relates to a method and a system for setting up two communication connections, especially Internet and/or telecommunications connections between a first and a second user (A, B). A first data record is provided, said data record comprising first address data and data on an first end user unit (EUU1) assigned to the first user (A) and comprising second address data indicating a second end user unit (EUU2) assigned to the first user (A). A second data record is also provided, said second data record comprising third address data indicating a third end user unit (EUU3) assigned to the second user (B) and fourth address data indicating a fourth end user unit (EUU4) assigned to the send user (B). The second data record is accessed by means of the first end user unit (EUU1) in order to obtain the third address data. A first communications connection is then set up between the first end user unit (EUU1) and the third end user unit (EUU3). The second data record is accessed by means of the first end user unit (EUU1) in order to obtain the fourth address data. Connection data (VD) is afterwards generated, said data comprising first address data (ADR1) and being transmitted from the first end user unit (EUU1) to the fourth end user unit (EUU4). Subsequently, a second communications connection is set up by the fourth end user unit (EUU4) in order to access the data of the first end user unit (EUU1), which has been specified by the first address data (ADR1).
