[origin: EP1769913A2] The printer has first and second printing mechanisms and first and second side wall elements (10,11) for mounting the first and second printing mechanism respectively. The two side wall elements have at least essentially identical external contours and the first and second side wall elements have bearing holders for the forme cylinders (1) or the ink application devices at identical positions. Independent claims are also included for (A) a combination of side wall elements of a rotation printer (B) and a method of manufacturing an inventive combination.
