[origin: EP1769914A2] A foil transmission device (100) has an application system (50) for zone-wise application of adhesive onto a flat material, especially leaf-shaped or strip-type printing material and a transmission system (10) for transmitting a layer by an interface onto a support foil under pressure, on a flat material. The transmission foil supply roller (21) and the transmission foil counter roll (27) are positioned above the transmission system or the application system (50), relative to one another so the maximum periphery of the transmission foil supply roller and counter roll (27) overlap.
