Abstract (en)
The suction head (18) is placed in the rear region above the paper stack (8) and is mounted to be displaceable respectively in and counter to the paper transport direction for format matching or adjustment. Flexible sheet-guiding elements (26) above a sheet conveying plane have constant length, stationary as well as deflectable by a positional change of suction head. If suction head is displaced in the direction of a crossmember (31), a smaller and constant geometric overall length of the guiding elements is necessary when small format lengths are processed.
