[origin: EP1770281A2] Compressor comprises a lubricant collecting chamber arranged in an outer housing (10) and a lubricant supply unit having a conveying wheel (142) for conveying the lubricant from a sump into a feed chamber for a drive shaft. A lower pressure prevails in a lubricant conveying chamber (150) than in the lubricant collecting chamber so that lubricant collecting in the collecting chamber overflows into the sump based on the pressure difference in the sump. Preferred Features: The lubricant supply unit is arranged on one side of the drive motor lying opposite a spiral compressor (20). The lubricant conveying chamber is arranged between a separating wall in the outer housing and a front wall of he outer housing.
