The building wall (1) has a grate arranged over a fireplace (2). The fireplace has external tube (12) made of ceramic material and internal tube (11) also made of ceramic. The two tubes are arranged coaxially and an annular gap is present between the two tubes and the supply air for combustion is led to the annular gap.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gebäudewand (1), vorzugsweise eine Innenwand (10i) oder eine Aussenwand (10a), mit einem darin integriert und/oder verdeckt angeordnetem Kamin (2). Der Kamin (2) weist ein keramisches Außenrohr (12) mit einem darin koaxial angeordneten Innenrohr (11) aus Keramik und/oder Kunststoff und/oder Metall und/oder Glas auf. Zwischen der Innenwandung des Außenrohrs (12) und der Außenwandung des Innenrohrs (11) ist ein vertikal sich erstreckender Ringspalt (62) ausgebildet, der als Zuleitung von Zuluft zu einer Verbrennungsstätte ausgebildet ist, die an den Kamin anschließbar ist.
