Abstract (en)
A method and system for sharing broadcast service information in a communication network ( 106 ) is disclosed. The communication network includes a plurality of electronic devices. The method includes retrieving metadata corresponding to a broadcast service. The metadata contains broadcast service information pertaining to the broadcast service. The method also includes formatting the metadata into a service description file. Moreover, the method includes sharing the service description file with at least one of the plurality of electronic devices.
