[origin: WO2006021640A1] The invention a cap for an aerated beverage bottle concerns, designed to co-operate with the neck of the bottle through a retaining wire closure, the cap comprising a head (1) external to the rim (6) of the neck (7), a part (2, 8) guiding the cap in the neck, dependent on the head, at least one lateral seal (13) borne by the guiding part to co-operate through sealed pressure with the inner surface of the neck. The invention is characterized in that the head (1) comprises a circular skirt (4) around the axis of the guiding part (2, 8), extending to top the rim (6) of the neck (7) and while being still in contact with the latter when the cap is retained in place by the wire closure (16).
