[origin: EP1772416A2] Drive unit, especially for a lifting gear, comprises two motors that each have an overriding clutch (4) with a blocking mechanism (16) designed so that it blocks connection after disconnection for as long as the drive (3) of the corresponding motor assigned the overriding clutch is idle and removes the blocking when the drive is operational.
