Linked to a data bus (DB) (2) there is a diagnostics module (DM) (9), which has a communications device (9a) for transferring parameters to an external diagnostics computer (EDC) (11). The DM operates so that a limited selection of parameters transferred with the DB can be chosen. These parameters can be transferred in real time with a communications device to the EDC. An independent claim is also included for a method for remote diagnostics on an industrial truck.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Ferndiagnosesystem für ein Flurförderzeug, das zur Übertragung einer Vielzahl von Parametern innerhalb des Flurförderzeugs einen Datenbus (2) aufweist. An dem Datenbus (2) ist ein Diagnosemodul (9) anschließbar, welches eine Kommunikationsvorrichtung (9a) zur Übertragung von Parametern auf einen externen Diagnoserechner (11) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß ist das Diagnosemodul (9) derart ausgeführt, dass eine begrenzte Auswahl der mit dem Datenbus (2) übertragenen Parameter auswählbar ist, die mit der Kommunikationsvorrichtung in Echtzeit auf den Diagnoserechner (11) übertragbar sind. Das Diagnosemodul (9) und der Diagnoserechner (11) sind derart ausgeführt, dass die Auswahl der zur Übertragung vorgesehenen Parameter mittels des Diagnoserechners (11) einstellbar ist. Die Kommunikationsvorrichtung zur Übertragung der Parameter weist ein Modem und/oder eine drahtlose Kommunikationseinheit, beispielsweise nach dem GPRS-Standard oder dem UMTS-Standard, auf.
