[origin: EP1729310A1] A transformer has primary and secondary windings, and coil penetrations contained in a core. Coil penetrations of hermetically molded-in primary and secondary windings are electrically and thermally separated from each other with intermediate insulations. The cores are thermally and dielectrically insulated and are permanently fixed and held, without any gap, within the coil penetrations via ribbed-partial area/corner surfaces (28).
