Abstract (en)
The switch (1) has a first electric arc contact (2) and a second electric arc contact (3), when the switch is switched-on the first electric arc contact stands in a contact region (8) of the second electric arc contact. To pause the switch, at least one of the arc contacts must be movable along the axis (A) of the switch. There is an insulation nozzle (6, 9) that extends in the axial direction and that surrounds the electric arc contacts and/or an electric arc discharge area between the electric arc contacts.
