[origin: WO2006018559A1] The invention relates to an arrangement for welding a first tube (7) and a second tube (9) of an exhaust line (6) together, in which the front end (10) of the first tube (7) comprises: a free end section (11) axially extending inside a rear (15) end section (18) of the second tube (9), and; an intermediate section (12) that lengthens the free end section (11). A weld seam (19) is provided on the edge of the rear free end (13) of the second tube (9) whereby extending along a portion of the intermediate section (12). The invention is characterized in that the edge of the rear free end (13) is in axial contact over a portion of the revolution (14) on the outside of the intermediate section (12).
