[origin: WO2006010658A1] The invention relates to a reinforcing cord for elastomeric products, in particular, for the ply belts of vehicle pneumatic tyres, made from a non-metallic cord core (1), helically wound with at least one metallic filament (2, 2'). The reinforcement cord has the following force-extension properties maximum 25 N at 1 % extension, maximum 40 N at 2 % extension, maximum 60 N at 3 % extension, maximum 95 N at 4 % extension and at least 200 N at 6 % extension.
