[origin: WO2006012857A1] The invention concerns a hinge frame part (10) for use on a door (6) casing (56) that is suitable for an optionally right- or left-hand rabbett for rotatably mounting a door leaf (64) on a hinge leaf part (52) provided on the door leaf (64), with a hinge flap (16) and a tenon bearing part (14, 12). In order to develop an easy-to-produce hinge design on a casing that is suitable for a right- or left-hand rabbett, it is proposed that the hinge flap (16) has at least one curve (26, 28), that the tenon bearing part has as two separate parts a tenon (12) and a tubular sleeve element (14) that is connected to the hinge flap (16), that the tubular sleeve element has a passage (18) for accommodating the tenon (12), that the tenon (12) has a frame-side insertion end (46) for insertion in the passage (18) and a leaf-side insertion end (48) for rotatably mounted insertion in the hinge leaf part (52) and that the hinge flap (16) and the tubular sleeve element (14) are mirror-symmetrical with respect to a centre plane (24) that extends substantially perpendicularly to the passage (18).
